Arsenal are reportedly lining up a sensational summer move for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 22 year old former Manchester City striker is reportedly unhappy with being forced out wide favouring a more central role and according to the Daily Mail influential Gunner’s scout Steve Rowley has put the wheels in motion for a surprise cross London switch.
In addition to his insistence on a more central striking role Sturridge, who tops the Blues scoring charts with 10 goals, also wants to negotiate an improved contract despite having two-and-a-half years left on his current deal.
With Chelsea refusing to enter contract talks at this stage not to mention been linked with moves for Athletico Madrid striker Falcao as well as his former Porto team mate Hulk and Edinson Cavani a move to the Emirates could well materialise.
